Women as Lady Liberty - My New Perspective on New York

 

For me, New York City symbolizes freedom, diversity and endless possibilities. In my artwork, I

portray women as Lady Liberty in a Pop Art style to reinterpret these values.

 

Lady Liberty, the Statue of Liberty, embodies the historic ideals of freedom and hope. By depicting

her as women, I not only honor her historical significance but also highlight the modern role of

women as bearers of these values.

 

Through these reinterpretations, I aim capture the essence of New York - a city that constantly

renews itself and emphasizes its diversity. My art invites viewers to reflect on the meaning of

freedom and individuality, portraying New York as a living organism shaped by stories and

dreams of its inhabitants.
